You Are Special
A Musical
The story of Punchinello, a little wooden Wemmick. Everyday The Wemmicks give each other star or dot stickers. Did a cool trick? Star. Tripped on your shoes? Dot. Puchinello has so many dots and no stars that he believes “I’m just not a good Wemmick.” When Punchinello meets Lucia he starts asking questions because the stickers don't stick to her! His search for answers lead him to a basic truth about his identity, regardless of what others think of him.

Camp Instructor
Hey, my name is Joanna Heram
Working with kids WHILE doing theatre is something I truly enjoy about OWT Summer Camps and I hope you'll join me! Fun facts about me: I have been teaching & directing theatre for 8 years, Interned with Overshadowed Theatrical Productions in Chicagoland in 2022, and am an auntie 12 times over. This will be my fifth year of OWT summer camps! Theatre is SO much more than just acting or tech- it's an environment where participants are learning skills that will translate to real life situations and relationships. I am honored that I get to be a part of facilitating growth in your children during these camps.
